SPF Academy organizes the Valencia CF Associated Football Schools tournament.

The traditional Christmas under 8 years old ´s tournament had the participation of some of the academy teams associated to the Valencia CF and all those forms the plantation of the next Valencia CF football players generation.

 

The tournament celebrated at the Valencia CF football complex was restricted to pre-Benjamin category collecting players between 6 to 8 years old from all parts of the Valencia region until a total of forty teams.

Thursday, December 27 th was the first competition day with the group phase for both groups; 6 and 7 years old and 7 and eight years old. Friday, December 28 th was the second competition day with the eliminatory phase, finals, and semifinals for all the age groups.

 

In the end, the winner in the category of 6 and 7 years old was Valencia CF winning 8 vs 0 the team of CD Torrevieja in a very competitive match. The other semifinalist was Barrio La Luz CF and Ontinyent FC playing for the 3 rd place in a match wined by Barrio La Luz Fc.

 

 

The second age group category, 7 and 8 years old, had same history with the victory of Valencia CF collecting a great tournament performance against another great team San José FC finally the 2 nd place of the tournament. The semifinalist spots were held by Lacross Babel, 3 rd position and Ontinyent Fc  4 th position.

This tournament has a specific sporting goal for the Valencia CF Associated Football Schools program, to be a control point of the competitive system for all the Valencia CF associated schools.

Besides the sporting goal, community care has a special role in the tournament sharing toys and food from the players to the community care association “Casa Grande” bringing help to the most underprivileged communities of the Valencia region.

This is one step forward in the tournament organization for the SPF Academy after the Summer women tournament realized past summer 2019.
