As the 2017-2018 soccer season wraps up, the technical departments are bustling with activity, planning for the next season. It's a crucial time for evaluating player reports and balancing incoming and outgoing players to assemble the best team possible.


From June to August, Spanish teams delve into all the scouting reports gathered throughout the season. This analysis is complemented by trials organized by the teams themselves to finalize their rosters for the upcoming season.


The approach to tryouts in Spanish soccer has evolved recently, differing notably from methods outside Europe. Typically, these tryouts are limited to four or five players, targeting very specific positions and integrating them into the team. This method focuses on assessing a player's ability to adapt to the team's style of play rather than just their technical skills. Indeed, a player's adaptability to the team's tactical approach and game intensity is paramount for selection.


At Spain Rush-SPF, we tailor an intensive training program specifically designed to prepare international players for the tactical demands and intensity of Spanish teams. This program kicks off with an evaluation trial and a bespoke training plan aimed at enhancing the player's chances of success in the July tryout stages.


Our pre-season program also includes scouting trials to help place footballers with teams for the upcoming season.
