In an exciting development for Australian soccer, Spain Rush-SPF Academy and Melbourne-based REPT Academy have partnered to nurture the rising soccer talent from Down Under. Over the past 15 years, Australian football has rapidly gained prominence, with the country now ranking at the top of the Asian Football Confederation. Australian players like Mathew Ryan (Valencia CF) and Mitchell Langerak (Levante UD) have already made a mark in the renowned La Liga.

This surge in talent is creating opportunities for young Australian players, aged 12 to 23, who are seeking international exposure to further their athletic potential.

The newly established partnership between REPT Academy and Spain Rush-SPF Academy aims to provide these young players with the chance to enhance their soccer skills in Spain through a variety of training programs. In December, the first group of Australian players embarked on a short-term training experience in Valencia, Spain.

The REPT Academy players participating in the initial program include goalkeepers Jake and Youssef, defenders Taki, and forward Rise—all aged between 16 and 19. These players are undergoing intensive morning training sessions and joining elite Spanish teams for evening practices.

The short-term program is tailored for players aged 14 and older, combining intensive training sessions, guest appearances with Spanish teams, and academic development. The program duration is flexible, ranging from 3 weeks to 3 months, and is open to players in all positions.

Looking ahead, the partnership between REPT Academy and Spain Rush-SPF Academy plans to expand, offering both short and long-term training opportunities in Spain for even more Australian players.
